App State University Bookstore
The Appalachian State University Bookstore is located on campus at 219 College Street, between the student union and library. The store's centralized location makes this site perfect for the bookstore's mission - to deliver textbooks, merchandise, supplies and computers to App State's students. But the University Bookstore isn't an average retail space. Whenever anyone makes a purchase at the University Bookstore, any profits accumulated by the bookstore go toward academic scholarships for students.
One of the unique things about the University Bookstore is our rental program. The textbook rental program provides every undergraduate student access to their required textbooks and course materials for a flat rate per semester. The program's new digital delivery system offers students equitable access, convenience, sustainability and savings. Approximately 60%–70% of textbooks and course materials are available in digital format; titles that are not will be available as a physical textbook.
The bookstore also offers the App State community tons of clothing and gift options for patrons. One of the campus traditions here at App State is "the pilgrimage" of students and families visiting the bookstore before walking to Kidd Brewer Stadium to watch some App State football. GO APPS!
The University Bookstore is currently undergoing a major renovation on the first floor. In the meantime, you can still visit us for all of your App State needs! Customers can visit us on the second floor by accessing the stairwell between the University Bookstore and the Plemmons Student Union. If you are unsure where to go, visit the main entrance of the bookstore and follow the signs.
Team Store at the Rock
The Team Store at the Rock offers visitors a fantastic gameday experience! Located below Kidd Brewer Stadium, the Team Store at the Rock mainly features gameday gear, like jerseys, polo shirts, caps, youth items, socks, pennants, bags, blankets and footballs. Also, we offer tons of cool shirts that show off your App State pride. GO APPS!
One of the great things about the Team Store is the location. Because it's located directly below the gates of Kidd Brewer stadium, you'll be able to shop before entering the stadium. Long lines? Then take a few minutes to walk around our beautiful courtyard, visit the life-size Jerry Moore statue, and swing by the Team Store to get your Mountaineer gear!
Pop-Up Shops
In addition to our two permanent locations, we also host pop-up shops at sporting events, speaking engagements, camps and conferences. Next time you're at a game, look for one of our pop-ups!
